About Kayla

Hey there! I’m Kayla Howard, a multifaceted performer and creative professional currently based in Phoenix, AZ. I recently graduated from the University of Arizona (Bear Down!) in December of 2025 with a degree in Theatre Arts and a focus in Musical Theatre and Dance, as well as a minor in Adolescence, Community and Education. 

With experience and training in choreography, directing, and intimacy direction/choreography for stage (T.I.E.©), as well as experience in educational theatre and dance, I strive to be involved with companies and productions that break the mold to tell stories in innovative ways, while seeking to keep actors safe and comfortable to reach creative greatness! I am very passionate about theatre as a storytelling device, as well as theatre as a developmental tool for youth within education.

Off stage, I love spending my down time baking bigger batches of cookies than I know what to do with, and watching the same sitcom for the 5th time.
